Embark on life's adventure with our innovative onboarding tool, enabling users to map out their future while fostering collaborative planning with partners.

Process

ClientGo simplifies fact-finding for advisers through an engaging gamified process, gathering data from potential clients and sparking interest in financial planning.

I played a pivotal role in transitioning designs from a board game to a responsive app, creating game tutorials, and optimizing user flow for an exceptional onboarding experience.

Problem

Traditional client onboarding involves tedious paperwork, impacting both advisers and clients.

Our solution is an interactive game tool that simplifies the process, enabling clients to input information, invite spouses to plan together, and visualize their current status.

Discovery

We quickly realized that clients want the app to be mobile-friendly during initial consultations, so we focused on responsive design. And if clients preferred a larger screen, advisers would step in with a laptop.

Considering this introduction during the initial consultation, key points that emerged includes:

  1. Smooth onboarding: Creating a positive first impression
  2. Feedback loop: Closing the loop on customer input
  3. Product focus: Keeping the product/service in mind
  4. Rewarding effort: Recognizing and rewarding customer contributions

Solution

The process I took to resolve these was:

  1. User Goals: Clients consult advisers to explore services
  2. Rewarding Results: Clients receive a timeline and financial chart, showcasing their current standing
  3. Engaging Onboarding: Interactive gameplay and tutorials captivate users, fostering interest

Result

We overcame various challenges by adapting our expertise and embracing the unique demands of Game UX, ultimately delivering a successful project.

Through this project, we achieved three key results:

  1. Online transition for data tracking and broader access
  2. Valuable insights into Game UX, including copywriting and user behavior
  3. Adopted by Bank of Ireland for client onboarding
