Stigmatyped

Process
The Idea
Challenging stereotypes, the project features characters with mental health conditions to raise awareness and understanding.
"I'm so OCD"
Casually claiming OCD trivializes the condition, disregarding its impact as a real mental health issue.
"Tomorrow will be better"
Dismissive phrases like "Tomorrow will be better" trivialize mental illness, emphasizing the importance of empathy and understanding.
"It's all in your head"
Invalidating mental health, lacking empathy, and understanding the uniqueness of emotional experiences, the project promotes respect and validation of individual struggles.

Result
The campaign sheds light on mental health social stigmas, which can hinder treatment and instill fear of judgment.
By showcasing common negative comments, the project encourages reflection on their impact, fostering empathy and understanding for the emotional experiences of patients.
